It’s a joy to come to work each morning and know I’ll spend my day around the most amazing people: our patients. Here, we’re all about meeting each person’s specific needs, and ensuring people receive the personal dental care they deserve and have a great visit every time they see us. As our office manager, I handle a variety of duties, so our team can stay focused on caring for our patients. I also oversee scheduling, help patients navigate their dental insurance benefits, and walk them through treatment planning, as well. I’ve lived in Fort Collins most of my life. I have two beautiful daughters and three handsome grandsons. Since I’m one of six children, I have a lot of family members in Colorado and we love being together.
Practice Manager
Amy has lived in Fort Collins for 20 years, after graduating from college in Texas and growing up in Oklahoma. She loves the outdoors, especially running early in the mornings and hiking in the mountains. Volunteering at church and in various community organizations is important to Amy, as is spending time with her four kids and their many activities. Amy has been a dental hygienist for 20+ years. The best part of this job, for Amy, is meeting new people, building relationships with patients, and teaching them about the importance of oral health.
Hygienist
My patients, by far and away, are the best part of my work. I love to get to know each person so I can give them the individual care they deserve, and so I can develop a better understanding of their dental needs and overall health. As I learn about their lifestyle and hobbies, I talk with them about home dental hygiene processes that will work with their needs. In addition to cleaning teeth and providing periodontal therapy, I spend a lot of my day educating patients and motivating them to improve their oral health so they’ll have years of great smiles. I’ve spent my life in Colorado. I love being with my husband John, and two children, Jenna and Jason. We have three horses, a dog, two cats, and chickens. As a family, we enjoy being outdoors, riding horses, camping, boating, and snowmobiling together.
Hygienist
I enjoy educating each of my patients and talking through treatment with them. It’s fun to see when a patient moves from not understanding the importance of dental health and oral hygiene to “getting it”. I help my patients learn the best ways to keep their teeth and gums in great shape by introducing them to new oral hygiene processes and products and helping them develop better oral hygiene habits. Each person has specific needs, so I work with them to find the solutions that work for them. I also clean teeth and perform other dental hygiene processes during my workday. I’m a Colorado native, so I’m at home in the mountains: hiking, skiing, picnicking, you name it! My husband Alex and I welcomed our first child, a little girl, in the summer of 2014 and we added a baby boy to our family in 2017. Luckily our high-energy dog prepared us for parenthood!
Hygienist
My goal as a dental hygienist is to educate and motivate patients to achieve and maintain optimal dental health. I strive to provide dental care in a comfortable and pleasant environment to meet each patient’s individual needs. A confident smile speaks a thousand words. My career in dentistry started in 2010 as a dental assistant. Then, I continued my dental education at Laramie County Community College and became a registered dental hygienist in 2017. I am proud to be a Colorado native and grew up in the Fort Collins area. In my free time, I enjoy leisure outdoor activities and sports, and am fortunate to spend time with family and friends. My husband and I recently welcomed our first child and are loving every second of family life.

I was first intrigued by teeth at 6 years old. Being one of 5 kids and living in chaos, I found calm in helping my mom and grandma by cleaning their dentures. I thought it was cool that they could remove their teeth. This memory makes me laugh quite honestly, but I remember taking such pride in that. A decade later in high school I decided to take an extra curricular class to meet kids since I was new to the area. When I saw dental assisting as an option, it brought back that childhood memory. After high school I decided to continue in the dental field and became a RDA (Registered Dental Assistant). I have always worked in the service field at some capacity and have found that when I’ve moved away from it, I've missed it. In my 15 year career, I've had the opportunity to work for world-renowned periodontists in Century City and oral surgeons in Santa Barbara, California. My passion for learning as much as possible landed me into the position of board approved hospital CSA (Certified Surgical Assistant) for Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara. These experiences have made me the employee, woman, wife, mom and friend I am today. I take pride in my work and expect the same from those around me, which is why I'm honored to work for Dr. Schultze's office. When you are surrounded by quality and professionalism it makes you look forward to your work day, and I'm grateful to have that. My husband and I moved to Fort Collins in 2011 to raise a family. We have two beautiful children and a fun black lab. When I'm not working, I'm shuttling kids to sports, roller blading or hiking with my dog, skiing, camping or painting. If we haven't met already, I look forward to meeting you soon!
